Testimonials

Jake - 2 years ago I had surgery. When returning to the gym I began a work out advised by many trainers. Rory was the only trainer to take the time to understand my current situation and the results I wanted. He designed a program that I believe not only got me the results far faster than I would have ever been able to get alone but I believe kept me out of surgery by allowing me to train safely and progressively as I recovered.
Rory has a real talent for working with YOUR strengths to get the results that YOU want not the results others believe you should have. He takes a real interest in your goals and takes a personal interest in your success. He focuses on the results you want and structures the training to suit.
A lot of mainstream gyms these days have “standard” programs taught by all of the trainers to all of the students. In my opinion, there is no best practice or one size fits all in training.  Personal training with Rory is exactly what it should be, personally customised for you. I have recommended Rory to several of my friends and they are now experiencing great results in as little as 2 sessions.

Elina - Having moved to Australia 8 years ago I was on the constant search for the best personal trainer and masseur. My search ended 2 years ago when I met Rory. Finally, I have found the right combination of professionalism at the top level, personal integrity, deep knowledge of the subject, genuine desire to help and ability to guide the client to one’s goals in the shortest possible time and in the most efficient way. I consider myself a very picky and demanding client who does her own research and has knowledge and experience in the sport industry but I am delighted to admit that in those years Rory has never disappointed or failed me.  He is always a phone call away, always flexible and ready to help with advice or action. As a masseur he was able to fix the problems that I have had for years and my health issues never came back. As a personal trainer he expanded my knowledge and technique of training, guided me into completely reshaping my body and finally achieving the figure I am very happy with. I also greatly appreciate the fact that he has strength of character,  knowledge and genuine desire to help  to the extent that he does not give up if he thinks I am on the wrong track, he takes his time to explain  and convince me. To make sure I understand what I am doing and why before we move on. This approach really helped me to make the right choices regarding my exercise regime and other sport issues when I am on my own overseas for work or holiday. Rory works with his client to develop consistency and coherency which I regard as essential in maintaining great body and health over the long term. My final remark will have to be that  as long as I live in Australia I will always remain Rory’s client.
Madlen - I've started with Tai Chi, because I wanted to do some sport which balances physical and mental aspects. Basically I was seeking the meditation aspect of it. I didn't really knew how Tai Chi training would be like. I have seen people practising in parks, that's all.
What I really enjoyed from the beginning was the progress I recognised from class to class. It really encoraged me to continue and to aim for level 5 as final goal. :-)
I also realised that my joints particulaly at my right foot benefitted from the training. I made good progress in bending so far. Since a motor cycle accident my right foot and knee are not as flexible as my left ones. The longer I practise Tai Chi the more exhausting it gets, because there are many ways to deepen the exercise. Rory is an excellent trainer. He encourages and challenges me. When he peforms Tai Chi you want to be able to exactly do this. At least I want to be able to do it. :-) It is still a long way to just get near to what Rory is capable of, but I enjoy every single class.
